Just wanted to tee up information hot off the presses, so to speak.  Boyan tells me he's leaving for Pakistan next week (decided a few weeks ago) June 15 to attempt Hidden Peak (aka G-1) and perhaps G-2.  (I reminded him of Ernest's 1999 G-2 story published on idea2000.org)  I hope he'll send me updates which I've promised to post here as I get them.  He tells me that he "accepted the invitation of 3 fellow climbers and to join the team [Boyan and buds will be an independent part of the 22-person exped. led by Polish climber Jacek Teler] to climb Gasherbrum 1 and possibly Gasherbrum 2.  The budget is very, very limited....and we start from Sofia on June 15th and expect to return around  August 22nd."
 
What should be of GREAT interest to you all is that Boyan states "...with regard to MADiDEA 2010 June 11-13 in Val Grigna, Italy, YES sure I will come...if I am not in Pakistan again.. ;-)) "
