Been a long time and I hope those who are lurking and posting are doing well.
 
I have been feeling so mountain starved it isn't funny.  But day after tomorrow I'm joining Doug and we are gonna have some fun back in the Sangre de Cristos of south central CO for a long weekend.  This time in a different drainage, but in a location with countless steep peaks and endless connecting knife edge ridges.  No technical climbing gear (feels odd, actually) this time and when I begin to wimper (Whymper?) at 13,500 feet on steep rock, I know Doug will have little sympathy for this flatlander unacclimatized wannabe....He'll just scamper on in his natural chamois-like  way.  We'll take some pictures and write up a little story.  We'll talk about blood sugars, pump, CGM and even Lantus.
